  Would love to give it a better rating but it looks like the administrators are doing everything in their power to keep me from doing it. Great location, not too far from Montreal, cute beach, accessible from the bike path, clear, fresh & inviting water to swim. But... Been there a few times over the past few years and EVERYTIME I get there I am charged the full admission price (10$, not cheap) to find out that almost half the beach space is acually closed to swimmers. So I end up having to share an overcrowded & noisy beach while looking at seagulls enjoying and empty strech of sand (that has been cleaned & raked). And if you try to even lay your towel on it (I'm not talking about swimming here...) some security staff will rush to get you out of there ; I mean what the hell ? At least, if you are to close almost half of your space, give us a break on the admission price and have the decency to warn us before we actually hit the toll booth. Because this is the worst part here, not a single warning sign in sight before we actually spit our pennies (and don't even think about a refund). As an administrator I would not act otherwise if I wanted to run my business broke. By the way, the nice bike path that allows you to travel around the place was also closed the last time I went there, thanks to Hydro Quebec (the worst corporate citizen in the province).

  Clean fresh water beach that is under 30 mins from Chateauguay.

  Great place with nice facilities. However, $10 per person is a bit expensive.
